General Information
40,000 years ago, the Niah Great Cave sheltered human life. Here lies the oldest human remains in Southeast Asia, along with many other relics of prehistoric man. Today the cave is home only to bats, swiftlets and other specially adapted forms of life. However, a few but locals still venture into the dark interior or collect guano ( bird and bat droppings used as fertilizer ) and bird's nest.
The famous Painted Cave is another highlight of a visit to Niah. Here, little human-like figures drawn in red hematite watch over a grave site where the bodies of the dead were each laid in its own boat-shaped coffin. The Great Cave and Painted Cave have been declared as National Historical Monuments.
Deep in the virgin tropical rainforest of Sarawak, along an unbroken 40 Km band of limestone peaks, lie one of earth's natural wonder – The Mulu Caves, Hidden away on the face of steep mountains rising to 1,500m, rivers suddenly disappear into these caves. A mysterious, magical world whose interior simply ripples with exciting discoveries. The Mulu Caves Complex contains 4 Show Caves which you can journey into – The Cave of Winds, Clearwater Cave, Deer Cave and Lang Cave. Gunung Api or Pinnacles is of special interest, being the highest limestone mountain in Malaysia, and possessing the Pinnacles, strange limestone spikes, like figures watching the park below, with some standing 45meter (148 feet ) high, climbing and watching sunrise is a dream comes true for climbers.

Upon arrival Miri Airport, meet and greet by our friendly representative then proceed for Miri City Tour – 3hrs

Tour features Malaysia 1st Oil Well or The Grand Old Lady located at Canada Hill, The largest Taoist Temple in South East Asia, Miri City Fan, Miri Heritage Centre (handicraft & souvenir) and visit Tamun Muhibbah ~ the local farmers market- you can find various tropical fruit and vegetable. Breakfast at hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Niah National Park ( Two and a half hour ride ). Upon arrival Park headquarters, register and have a brief study of the park information at the information center. Then, take a short boat to cross the river to visit Niah Museum. After visit museum proceed on plank walk for 3 Km to the caves main entrance. To walk to the cave take about 45 minutes. The Niah Cave is famous for its edible birds nest found high-up in the cave about 300 ft from the ground. In the Painted Cave you are about to see the prehistoric wall drawing as well as the preserved remains of the STONE AGE PEOPLE 40,000 year old. Return journey on the same plank walk to Niah National Park. Lunch at Niah local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to Tusan Beach which is a beautiful beach area that feature arch cliff with a nature arch eroded through it. We stop for 30 min.

After breakfast, transfer to Miri airport for flight to Mulu.

Arrive Mulu Airport, meet and greet by our friendly representative and transfer to Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa for check in. Afternoon, meet at resort lobby and transfer to Mulu National Park headquarters. Upon registration and proceed on plank walk for 3 Km to reach Deer Cave & Lang Cave. After exploring the caves, proceed to bats observatory to observe bats flying out of caves entrance at late evening (Only confine to fine weather). Return journey on the same plank walk to park headquarters and transfer back to resort . Dinner & overnight at resort.

Breakfast at resort and transfer by longboat proceed to Batu Bungan – Penan Settlement, to observe the tribe lifestyle and to select handicrafts on display for sale at Penan Settlement. Continue journey by longboat to Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave. Picnic lunch at Clearwater summer huts and later on you can enjoy swimming at Clearwater spring.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Should you wish to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, we will collect 10% of tour fee as administrative fee; cancellation less than 7days will deduct 50% of tour fee; cancellation less than 3 days full cancellation charged. If the product relate with 3rd party service (Air Ticket, Accommodation, Mount Climbing & etc) will require to refer back to 3rd party Terms & Conditions & the company will still collect an extra 10% of tour fee as administrative fee.
