General Information
Kapalai Island is a sandbar located between Sipadan Island and Mabul Island, a 45-minute boat ride from Semporna. The sea is crystal clear, and it is a veritable paradise floating on the water, and it is one of the world-famous diving paradises. The resort is built on tall buildings in the sea, forming a "floating resort" picture. There are 40 water chalets, all of which are double rooms with private bathrooms, with bathtubs, hot and cold showers, fresh water from land for daily use, and a private balcony.
When tourists walk on the sturdy plank road, they can see the swimming marine life under their feet, and the vast and spectacular seascape of the Celebes Sea can be seen everywhere. Visitors can choose to dine indoors or alfresco, and there is a viewing area in the center of the restaurant, allowing visitors to overlook the marine life passing by on the deck. Outside the deck is a good place to sunbathe, read and take a nap.
The Dive Centre provides diving, snorkeling, and kayaking gear for rent. Can’t dive but would love to? No problem! The center offers a variety of PADI courses, including Open Water and Introduction to Night Diving. After enjoying your underwater paradise, explore other facilities offered by the resort including the souvenir shop, games room, and broadband access.
Fresh food cooked by a chef on buffet style. Afternoon snacks are served after 3rd dive, and tea and coffee, cold water, and cordial drink are served thru out the day.

We reserve the right and final decision to amend, proceed or abort any resort activities due to safety reason or subjected to bad weather or sea condition, poor visibility and if divers’ own physical ability is compromised, for example injuries, intoxication, hangovers and others.

Tourism Tax (MyTTx) : RM10 per night per room - only applies to Non Malaysian / International (with Foreign Passports).

Semporna Jetty Fee : RM2 / Malaysian, RM10 / International (with Foreign Passports).

Peak Season Surcharge: Required during Hotel High Season, Christmas, New Year Eve, Chinese New Year, Labour Day, Wesak Day, Hari Raya Puasa, Pesta Keamatan and other festive seasons or Sabah Public Holidays.

Additional information
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Should you wish to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, we will collect 10% of tour fee as administrative fee; cancellation less than 7days will deduct 50% of tour fee; cancellation less than 3 days full cancellation charged. If the product relate with 3rd party service (Air Ticket, Accommodation, Mount Climbing & etc) will require to refer back to 3rd party Terms & Conditions & the company will still collect an extra 10% of tour fee as administrative fee.
Tour Type
Sit-In-Coach basis (SIC). This tour is not private tour, you will share the trip with other guests come from different countries. Please notify us upon booking if you are looking for private tour, surcharge might be applied.
Pickup Service
Pickup service will be provided from the hotel/hostel/lodge that you are staying. Please wait at lobby while the tour guide will find you when he/she arrive. Dropoff service will be provided after travelling, please notify us upon booking if your dropoff location is differ from pickup location.
