Borneo Rainforest Lodge is an award-winning lodge situated right in the heart of one of world's oldest rainforests, Danum Valley. It is a cosy and luxurious eco-resort that provides guests with a unique and comfortable experience within the midst of the pristine wilderness of Danum Valley. They have 31 individual chalets with fans and en-suite bathrooms, accommodating up to only 60 guests on any one day and on a Full-Board basis.
Whether you're an avid birdwatcher, nature enthusiast, or just looking for a peaceful getaway, the Borneo Rainforest Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind while exploring the incredible diversity of life that can be found in Danum Valley. With its prime location, guests have easy access to all of the best activities including jungle trekking, night safari/walks, river tubing, wildlife watching, river cruises, and visiting the popular Danum Valley Canopy Walkway.
Standard Chalet: The Standard Chalet is a beautiful space to rest and relax with panoramic views of the rainforest and an outdoor deck to spot wildlife right on your doorstep.
Deluxe Chalet: A spacious chalet with either River or Jungle Views. The outdoor tub and deck chairs offer a relaxing atmosphere and an appreciation of the endless beauty of Danum Valley. The Deluxe Chalets are a good option for those travelling with children due to their moderately large interior and exterior spaces.
Premium Deluxe Chalet: Premium Deluxe Chalets offer a larger balcony and larger glass panelling to bring the beauty of nature indoors. Enjoy magnificent riverside views from your very own private outdoor bathtub.
- Malaysia Tourism Tax (MyTTx): RM10 per room per night applies to guest who are not Malaysian nationals or permanent residents holding a MyPR card.
- Peak Season Surcharge: Required during Hotel High Season, Christmas, New Year Eve, Chinese New Year, Labour Day, Wesak Day, Hari Raya Puasa, Pesta Keamatan and other festive seasons or Sabah Public Holidays.

Meet up at Lahad Datu Airport and proceed for registration and briefing.

Depart for a 2 and a half hour drive to Danum Valley Borneo Rainforest Lodge.

Arrive and check in at the lodge before proceed for lunch.

Slide presentation at Conference Room.

3.00 PM
Proceed for the Afternoon Trek where you will walk throught the nature trails and go up the canopy walkway for a close-up observation of the rainforest.

Dinner at the lodge.

After dinner, you will proceed for the Night Drive in search of the nocturnal animal. This activity is subject to weather conditions.

- Scheduled Transfer from Lahad Datu Airport to BRL: 0930am.
- Requirement for the trip >> Insect repellent, Raincoat, Water bottle, Sun hat, Good walking boots, Comfortable clothing (preferably not bright colours), Camera, Binoculars, Personal toiletries, Sun block, Personal medication, Leech socks.
- Activities are subject to weather conditions, and may be re-organised to best meet operational situations.
- Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
- Activities itinerary covers Nature/Jungle Trekking, Night Drive, Night Walk, Canopy Walkway and Interpretative Services.

Proceed for the Morning Jungle Trek to see the Kadazandusun burial site, Coffin Cliff. Then, you will go to the View Point for a bird's eye view of the area before going to the Jacuzzi Pool for a refreshing dip.

Proceed for lunch.

After lunch, go for the Afternoon Jungle Trek or tubing session down Danum River.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Should you wish to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, we will collect 10% of tour fee as administrative fee; cancellation less than 7days will deduct 50% of tour fee; cancellation less than 3 days full cancellation charged. If the product relate with 3rd party service (Air Ticket, Accommodation, Mount Climbing & etc) will require to refer back to 3rd party Terms & Conditions & the company will still collect an extra 10% of tour fee as administrative fee.
Tour Type
Sit-In-Coach basis (SIC). This tour is not private tour, you will share the trip with other guests come from different countries. Please notify us upon booking if you are looking for private tour, surcharge might be applied.
Pickup Service
Pickup service will be provided from the hotel/hostel/lodge that you are staying. Please wait at lobby while the tour guide will find you when he/she arrive. Dropoff service will be provided after travelling, please notify us upon booking if your dropoff location is differ from pickup location.
